<p style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: normal !important;">Liseden mezun olduğu yıl (1953) <em>Türk Sanatı</em> dergisinde çıkan ilk şiirinin ardından, şiirleri mahallî dergi ve gazeteler ile üniversite öğrenciliği yıllarında arkadaşlarıyla birlikte çıkardığı <em>Kopuz</em> ve bir süre yazı işleri müdürlüğünü yaptığı <em>Orkun</em> ve <em>Türk Edebiyatı</em> (1980) dergilerinde çıktı.</span></p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;"><em><span style="font-weight: normal !important;">Türkiye </span></em><span style="font-weight: normal !important;">ve<em> Tercüman </em>gazetelerinde köşe yazarlığı yaptı. <em>Samanyolu </em>televizyonuna Türkçenin doğru ve güzel kullanılması konulu “Sözün Doğrusu” isimli bir program hazırladı ve sundu. “Sözün Doğrusu” programı ve yeni Türk Cumhuriyetlerini konu aldığı TV programları nedeniyle çeşitli kuruluşlarca çok sayıda ödüle layık görüldü.</span></p>
